SSMS Update not taking, and SSMS thinks it is an older version 19.3

Hello all. Every time I load SSMS, I get an update notification. I downloaded the update. The most recent version at the time of writing is ``` Release number: 20.1 Build number: 20.1.10.0 Release date: April 9, 2024 ``` After installation, I launched SSMS, only for it to load the Update notification again, saying that I am on version 19.3. I loaded the installer again, and it asked if I wanted to do a repair. The other week, I downloaded and installed update `20.0.70.0`. When I launched SSMS, it also gave me the Update Notification for the same version download I had just installed. So, something is going on with SSMS. I know I can uninstall and then reinstall again with the latest version, but that would be a waste if I had to do it every time. Any ideas on this one? Is this a bug in the installer or the App itself, or is there some other reason for this issue happening. Also, this started happening when I updated `19.3.4.0` on January 12, 2024. (It seems that 19.3 wants to stay on my system :))
