xkeen -ux installs Xray 26.3.27 on Keenetic mipselsf, but this build crashes; please add warning or blocklist
Environment:
- Router: Keenetic Ultra
- OS: KeeneticOS / Linux 4.9-ndm-5
- Entware feed: `mipselsf-k3.4`
- Date observed: June 5, 2026
What happened:
- `xkeen -ux` successfully offered Xray 26.3.27
- after update, the router-side `xray` binary crashed immediately
- it failed on `xray version`, `xray -test`, and normal startup
- router had to be rolled back manually to 26.2.6
Confirmed behavior on the same device:
- Xray 26.2.6 works
- Xray 26.3.27 crashes
Crash type:
- Go runtime `SIGSEGV`
- observed on official `mips32le` release for Xray 26.3.27
Request:
Please consider one of the following for `mipselsf` / Keenetic MIPS routers:
- version blacklist for Xray 26.3.27
- warning before installing this version
- optional platform-specific safe version recommendation
This would prevent breaking live routers through `xkeen -ux`.
Note:
The problem appears to be in the upstream Xray binary for this platform, not in XKeen config generation itself. But `xkeen -ux` currently allows installing a known-bad version on this hardware class.
