Implement retries in TypeScript

We should add the similar retry logic in the TypeScript client as well. Additionally, it would be great to work on improving the synchronization system overall as it seems to be too fragile (?) _Originally posted by @martijnhjk in https://github.com/alumnium-hq/alumnium/issues/190_
