Closed captioning on YouTube does not work when the extention is enabled

I noticed that when the Chrome Mask extension is enabled on YouTube, the closed captions (CC) do not appear on a video, even when I made sure they were enabled. The captions start working again when I disable the extension. Hoping this problem gets fixed eventually, since this extension saves a lot of memory on my laptop when watching YouTube.
