Updated the `standalone` branch

Updated `standalone` so as to reduce changes between the two branches (between this PR and the PR of the proposed main: https://github.com/JMartJonesy/kickstart.nixvim/pull/19). This PR builds on the previous one, adding two commits to make the files follow the structure of the previous `standalone` branch Please see that PR first :)
