[BUG] Linux: Video playback broken

<p>Video playback and audio-only mode worked correctly in version <code>5.8.7-beta+260324012 (and _login)</code> and earlier. Starting from <code>5.9.1-beta+260331152 (and _login)</code>, attempting to change the video quality no longer works.
