New Tabs sometimes opening in Pinned or Essentials at random

When using the New Tab button to navigate to a URL, the new tab does not open in the regular tabs area, but either in the Pinned Tabs or Essentials. I am not able to reproduce the issue consistently across all workspaces and it's also not consistent whether the tab opens in Pinned or Essentials, that part seems to be random. ### Expected behavior New Tab opens in regular tabs area ### Actual behavior New Tab opens in Pinned or Essentials area ### Steps to reproduce 1. Click the New Tab button. 2. Type the search term or URL and hit Enter. 3.
