Workspace slide animation triggers partially on unconfigured touchpad gestures

Even though I dont have any touchpad gestures configured, using three or four fingers to swipe left or right on the touchpad triggers the workspace slide animation The animation starts, moves about halfway, and then stops instead of completing the transition Additionally, due to the current syntax used to configure touchpad gestures, its not possible to configure both three- and four-finger gestures at the same time to switch workspaces
