Any plans for KIP-768: Extend SASL/OAUTHBEARER with Support for OIDC?

It seems OIDC mechanism is used quite a lot. It would be awesome if a kafka client written purely in Rust like samsa supports this. This feature is not properly supported in rust-rdkafa.
