[BUG] File field doesn't work with Custom Attachment Location plugin

I'm using the file field to try to upload an image, since the image field (as I understand it) always renames the image, and I want to use the image's original name. When I try this together with the “Custom Attachment Location” plugin, the `file field` doesn’t seem to accept any format, while the image field works fine.
