duckdb-r and LTS releases

Hello! I am opening this issue because DuckDB now has LTS releases and we consider [this repository a primary client.](https://duckdb.org/docs/stable/clients/overview) [More details on LTS releases here](https://duckdb.org/release_calendar), but the gist is that we'll publish different versions of DuckDB parallel to each other. E.g., we just had a `v1.4.4` release, next up is `v1.5.0`. Then, we might have some patch releases for `v1.5.x`, while possibly also releasing a `v1.4.5`. **Thus, I'd like to ask you: does this client's infrastructure support parallel releases? If yes, does it make sense to support them?**
