Mute while Stopped plays sound

While playing - hitting B+D (Stop/Start) stops playback, but if you then hit B+C (Mute) playback starts again (or stops/mutes when you hit B+C a second time). When this happens LEDs stay in the "stopped" state while sound is playing. B lit, D flashing and the last played step of 1-16 is lit.
