Strange scrolling issue on bottom bar

**Describe the bug** As of a recent update, it has become possible to accidentally scroll the parent container containing the bottom navigation bar, revealing a large empty space. **To Reproduce** Steps to reproduce the behavior: 1. On any page where the bottom navigation bar is visible 2. Swipe to scroll down, starting the swipe over the navigation bar. 3.
