What is the current contribution status of this library ?

Hello maintainers! We are currently considering to integrate `vee-validate` for our form validation needs and we'd like to know what's the current contribution status of this lib. Is it actively being contributed to ? Or is it in maintenance mode ? I'm asking because I saw that the last commit is two months old, and there's a `beta-0` release for v5. It's a bit confusing for us 😅 And we'd like to pick a lib with an active community so we can also contribute to it! Thank you!
