How work command option --bluray ?

Hello Rigaya. Thanks for reading my topic. Obviously the command option --bluray will make an output file compatible with bluray player, but how work that command ? Using a high number of b frames and b frame pyramid break compatibility with bluray players. The command option --bluray disable some command options to avoid problems with bluray players ?
