Howto compile NVEncc under Linux with vmaf Support (like in Windows)?

I try to compile nvencc under archlinux with vmaf support. vmaf (libvmaf) is installed and found in filesystem, configure found it, but when compiled, the finished Programm says vmaf: no so, how could nvencc build under Linux with integrated vmaf support like windows???
