harlequin duckdb.typing

i'm getting this error when trying to run harlequin after installing. i've created new python environments via powershell. i've attempted both conda & pip installs. i've tried different python versions also. the install goes fine but when i call harlequin i'm getting this message: "Harlequin could not load the installed plug-in named duckdb.typing. No module named 'duckdb.typing'"
