Add blank layouts

I'm really happy with what I customed in French from the English wide thumb-key and would like to improve that a bit. Would that be possible to add a blank wide keyboard with 5 colomns and 4 lines, exactly like the numerical wide keyboard? I tried to add a new layout a few weeks ago. As I never learnt how to code, it was surely badly done and my proposal was denied. A blank layout would benefit people like me!
