Question about app update (v0.46.0 -> v0.50.0)

Hello, I have v0.46.0 installed, but when trying to update to v0.50.0 or v0.51.0, android gives an error. Is the signature or something different? Must I uninstall v0.46.0 and then install v0.51.0 instead? Thank you
