## Community tools in the Ushahidi problem space Building civic tools for Kenya and wanted to connect with the Ushahidi community — the problems your platform addresses (crisis mapping, real-time incident reporting) directly overlap with two tools I've built: **[FloodWatch Kenya](https://floodwatch-kenya.streamlit.app)** - Flood incident tracking and policy gap analysis for Kenya - Built on NDOC (National Disaster Operations Centre) data - [GitHub](https://github.com/gabrielmahia/floodwatch-kenya) (Apache 2.0) **[WapiMaji](https://wapimaji.streamlit.app)** - Water stress and drought monitoring for all 47 Kenyan counties - SMS alert pipeline for farmers via Africa's Talking (pending shortcode registration) - [GitHub](https://github.com/gabrielmahia/openresilience) (Apache 2.0) **Questions:** 1. Does Ushahidi have a developer community or integration registry where tools like these can be listed? 2. Is there an API or data format that would allow these tools to push incident reports into Ushahidi deployments? 3. Are there NGO partners working on Kenya climate/water crisis mapping who might want to collaborate? The tools are free, open source, work on 3G, and are already deployed. Happy to contribute integration code or documentation if there's a path to making these interoperable with the Ushahidi ecosystem.
