[Bug]: OpenRV 4.0 and Thinlinc playback audio sync delay on AlmaLinux 9.8

bug
### What happened? When playing media files (mov, mp4,mkv) in OpenRV 4.0 through a remote ThinLinc session, audio consistently lags behind the video by approximately 1 second or less. Some media files the audio lag is significantly more than others. An additional symptom is that when playback is stopped, the video stops immediately but the audio continues playing for approximately one second before stopping. For comparison: SMPlayer and MPV exhibit none or only a very slight audio delay when running in the same ThinLinc session. The same OpenRV 4.0 installation running over XRDP remote session plays the identical media files correctly with audio and video fully synchronised. **Environment Linux VDA Build - VFX 2025 Linux Platform** Operating System: AlmaLinux 9.8 and XFCE Desktop + PulseAudio Service Nividia Quadro P4000 - Nvidia 580.x driver Open RV 4.0 - FFMeg 8,0 codecs, Qt 6.5.3 I've rebuilt the Linux VDA from scratch. I've already reached out to the Thinlinc support and we've not been able to resolve the issue. ThinLinc does have a higher audio delay than XRDP (may be intentional due to buffering) but according to TL support, applications should in theory be able to compensate for it, as is the case with SMPlayer/MVPlayer. ### List all the operating systems versions where this is happening AlmaLinux 9.8 ### On what computer hardware is this happening? XCP-NG Virtual Machine, Nvidia Quadro P4000 (Passthrough), 8 vcpu Intel Xeon, 36GB memory, 250GB SSD Storage (XFS) ### Relevant console log output ```shell **Pulse Audio Measurements** **Remote Platform App Buffer latency Sink Latency** Thinlinc Smplayer 312ms 429ms OpenRV4 301ms 466ms XRDP Smplayer 99ms 19ms OpenRV4 213ms 19ms ``` ### Environment variables _No response_ ### Extra information OpenRV preferences tested: Rendering: Video Sync-> No noticeable effect when enabled. Video: Incorporate Video Latency into Audio Offset -> Enabling this reduced the perceived delay but did not eliminate it. Audio: Hardware Audio and Video Synchronisation -> No noticeable effect when enabled. ### Code of Conduct - [x] I agree to follow this project's Code of Conduct
