[Linux] White window on opening installer

After downloading the appimage from the Releases page, executing it shows a blank white window and the terminal read an error saying `Could not create default EGL display: EGL_BAD_PARAMETER. Aborting...`. Using the solution from the troubleshooting page does the exact same thing.
