Can spade be upgraded?

Spade is pinned to 2.10 (https://github.com/vleue/polyanya/commit/eb7e7a372971a691f8a76159cbb4b072bc07fd3d) It seems like there may be some issues preventing it from being upgraded (https://github.com/Stoeoef/spade/issues/116) but I'm not entirely sure. Could we get a status update on this please? This is preventing me from using vleue_navigator in my project because I have another dependency (https://github.com/mattatz/curvo) that uses a later version of spade. Thank you!
