The "link" is not working

Since I have been using Quill editor for super basic, there was a headache to implement properly UL and OL and save to SQL. Now, there is another issue with link, the link button is just not working but it worked before. Even, I tried on the Quill website , it doesn't work either. Can someone has a full code example which it works as should be? Thanks.
