Missing "State of the Field" Section in Docs Example Paper

It is now required that papers contain a "State of the Field" section: https://joss.readthedocs.io/en/latest/paper.html Initially this did not appear in the new repository checks by editorialbot as an oversight, but does now. This section is missing from the JOSS Docs example paper here however: https://joss.readthedocs.io/en/latest/example_paper.html I would offer to add this, but I do not have the domain background to edit the paper so am doing the next best thing which is to raise an issue ;)
