Better project api

Hi: Very recently in the emacs mailing list I have touched the improvement of project.el to support more common project actions like smarter compile, test, run and so on: https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/emacs-devel/2024-04/msg00003.html I actually was implementing a very primitive proof of concept: https://github.com/Ergus/project-multi-mode/blob/master/project-multi-mode.el Bust just now I discovered your project and I am wondering if you would be interested in coming to the discussion and add some other points of view on how we may probably proceed i.e what extra generics may be needed in `project.el`, what other project integrations may be useful, etc. I already mentioned this project in the list: https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/emacs-devel/2024-04/msg00545.html
