The R session in positron restarts automatically after "terra::vect" - Exit code: -1073741819

Hi all, I'm trying to open a shapefile with terra package and the following command: terra::vect(".shp"). But every time I use this command the R session restarts automatically. The log output file is in the attached text file. Do you have any idea what the problem is? I'd like to point out that the code works in RStudio but not in Positron.
