WebP compression does not preserve metadata

Hello, I'm trying out Caesium Image Compressor to compress images processed with Lightroom and enriched with EXIF ​​and IPTC metadata (Keywords, Title, Alt Text, Caption, etc.). In all cases, the "Preserve Metadata" and "Ignore if output size is larger than original" options are unchecked. I've noticed that while JPG compression preserves the metadata, WebP compression does not.
