NixOS live USB fails to boot entirely

I have had this issue for a while, and judging from what I've seen in other issues similar to this one this bug was meant to be "fixed" ~2 years ago. It has not been fixed on my end. Essentially, when booting the NixOS live USB, it will go to the themed GRUB menu (as per usual) however once I press any key, select any option, or wait for the timer to go to auto-select something, the bootloader freezes entirely. If I press any key after that point, I am sent back to my BIOS boot selector screen. I have tried different USB sticks, different NixOS versions, Ventoy, none help. The closest I got was through Ventoy which manages to get me to about stage 2, then kernel panics after a bit. **Choosing the legacy EFI option will make the live USB work,** however I cannot install NixOS properly from there. From what I saw from the other issue where someone had a similar issue to me, this stems from the fact that NixOS uses lowercase rather than uppercase on certain boot-related files. These files being in lowercase allows them to be recognized by the BIOS regardless on some BIOS versions, however, on some, they do not recognize the files. If the change is *really* that simple I do not think it would be that hard to fix. For reference, my BIOS vender is "American Megatrends". Thanks, lawl.
