macos-13 github runner deprecation and ARM variants

Github is deprecating macos-13 (Intel) runners. A PR I just submitted failed to start there today. What is the plan to move to newer macos github runners? There is now macos-15-intel that replaces the obsolete macos-13 (intel) runner. Speaking of which: Can we/you also start using native ARM macos runners? It would make life drastically easier! (github macos-15 (and macos-latest) runner is ARM based)
