Notchmeister window causes the LED dimming zones to light up around notch

The white window underneath the notch causes the backlight around the notch to light up. This is especially problematic when watching fullscreen TV or video because you can very clearly see the white bloom on the black background. maybe there could be a setting to make this window appear inverted or all black. Because it is distracting to see that white bloom at the top of the screen when trying to watch a TV show.
