New point symbol created in OOM does not show up in OCAD file

Recently, I created a new symbol for a "Bush or tree" in my OOM file and changed the symbol number to 418.1 . This new symbol is very similar to ISOM symbol 418 "Prominent bush or tree," but I changed the new symbol to not have a white dot in the middle, making the entire feature a circle with Green 100%. After creating this new symbol, I proceeded to map many small bushes (I created the new symbol because simply placing a point object is faster than creating an area of 410 "Fight vegetation" for every single bush). Then, after I finished the map and wanted to set some courses on it using Condes, I saved the map in as an OCD file version 12 (since Condes does not accept OOM files). However, when I open the OCD file, the bushes that I mapped with my new symbol 418.1 are not there. The new symbol itself is present in the symbol window, however all the objects of this symbol on the map are not present. When I try to use the "Select all" function for this new symbol in the OCD file, it just displays a random dot in the middle of the map with no objects there. I have tried saving the OOM file in all the versions of OCAD from version 8 to version 12. Nothing works. In the OCD file, when I try to use the "Replace symbol set" function and select the original OOM file, the bushes suddenly load in and appear on the map. However, when I save this OCD file, close it, and then reopen it, all the bushes are missing again. I'm not sure what this could be, but any help would be appreciated. Both map files (original and OCD that was created) files are attached below. Thank you.
