Front/Back channels randomly switch.

Has anyone had a issue where the Front channels will switch from playing on front speakers to the back speakers? and vis versa. THIS happens almost exclusively when playing videos or webvideo content. Rather odd issue I've seen happen on a few machines I've used scream on. And the host machine still has the channels assigned and working correctly so it must be the windows scream driver?
