macOS: CJK punctuation marks not rendered correctly

Steps to reproduce: 1. Launch the vello_editor example on macOS 2. Clear the text editor 3. Paste in the following string: 《12》《你 4. Now delete the last character with backspace 5. Observe how the punctuation marks aren't rendered anymore.
