Idea: Option to avoid zooming back out when a node is added

If I'm zoomed in adding nodes to a large chart. It seems that currently I have to keep zooming back in every time a node is added, since the chart zooms back out every time. I'd like the option to stay locked in on the current area I'm zoomed in on. Let me know if this is actually already possible and I'm missing it. Thanks!
