TP-Link Tapo Controller version 3.4.0 will not install in HA

I can select version 3.4.0 for the Tapo Controller Integration, but after restarting, it's still version 3.3.0-dev.1. With this version, the Kasa Smart Hub initialization gets stuck in an endless loop. Only a downgrade to version 3.2.2 works, and the devices from the Kasa Smart Hub become available again.
