Duplicating workspace list on click

I added a perspective besides main. If i click on the modebar indicator to switch perspectives the whole list gets duplicated and appended to the perspective list. switch-perspective bound to a key seems to work fine. I added a screenshot to illustrate. Any idea where this behaviourt might come from ?
