Recent malware attack: is Chaotic-AUR alright?

Hi! The AUR is currently undergoing a continuous wave of malware attacks. I need to update my computer at some point (probably will not do so this week) and wanted to check in on you all to see whether any of these are impacting Chaotic-AUR. How does Chaotic-AUR update the PKGBUILD files it relies upon? Is this a manual process? Do you all rely upon any AUR packages a Chaotic-AUR maintainer does not personally maintain? Should I remove `chaotic-aur` from my `pacman.conf` and check all AUR packages manually while this blows over? Thanks!
