## Context Following a discussion involving members of the Bevy community, I would like to open a broader discussion about the possibility of making part — or all — of the current Bevy website more dynamic and engaging. This issue is not meant to prescribe a specific implementation. The ideas below are suggestions based on examples from other game engines, as well as my own experience in web development. The general goal would be to improve the first impression of Bevy, reduce friction for newcomers, make the ecosystem feel more active, and potentially help increase the adoption and popularity of the engine. Bevy is a game engine, and game engines are visual, interactive, and creative by nature. I believe the website could better reflect that. --- ## Tracked issue: - [ ] #2452 - [ ] #2453 - [ ] #2454 - [ ] #2455 - [ ] #2334 reconsideration? --- ## Important considerations All these ideas should be discussed carefully. Making the website more dynamic should not come at the cost of Bevy’s existing strengths. Important points to consider include: - performance; - accessibility; - maintainability; - moderation workload; - hosting costs; - contribution complexity; - mobile experience; - page loading time; - long-term maintenance; - consistency with Bevy’s open-source culture. The goal should not be to make the website flashy for the sake of being flashy. The goal should be to better communicate what Bevy is, what it can do, and why people should try it. --- ## Conclusion I believe there is a real opportunity to make the Bevy website more engaging, more dynamic, and more effective at communicating the strengths of the engine. The current website is clear and functional, but for a game engine, the visual and interactive experience matters a lot — especially for newcomers. These suggestions are not meant as strict requirements. They are intended to start an open discussion about how the website could better support Bevy’s growth, adoption, and public image. I would be happy to provide more detailed examples, references, or web development ideas if there is interest from the community.
