Ability to integrate with `likewise`?

Likewise is a fork of similar with ~80% of all upstream issues solved excluding some of the best ones. You can see a comprehensive tracker [here](https://github.com/barrettruth/likewise/blob/main/UPSTREAM.md). Similar is, of course, basically not maintained at all. I'd like to either help maintain it or make likewise an alternative diff backend for insta. Just wanted to put this out there to see if the ideas was even on the table. Thanks for your time!
