The (alt) introduced by kiwi will cause newly crafted items to fail to stack with previous items.

For example, minecraft:iron_ingot becomes minecraft:iron_ingot(alt), making it impossible to stack with the original items. Additionally, this causes the automatic filling in the crafting table to malfunction.
