Then send him to a concentration camp!

Ha! So anyway, randomness ensues.

Montreal was OK, but nothing special. On the way up there, we picked up a girl who goes to school with the girl I went to Montreal with. The girl we picked up and I did not get along. I think that we're too similar. I didn't get to see any jazz, because I was staying in a van and had to hang out with the people who had the keys, and they did not go to see the jazz. This was exactly my least favorite scenario for Saturday night.

Also, the team that I picked up for was, well, not good. The first day of the tournament was fun, and we came together to almost beat a fairly good team. Ultimately, we lost to them 13-10 after tying them at 10. The only two girls in the open division were on our team, and this team had to rely on isolating our one bad girl to score their points.

On the second day, of the tournament, the captain of my team agreed to start our game 20 minutes early when the opposing captain asked him to. This meant that, when I arrived 5 minutes later, we were down 3-0 already, and I had to cleat up in a hurry. I didn't get to warm up and all, and consequently played terribly. When I asked why he'd allowed the game to start so early, he dodged the question. The other players replied that "he was grumpy", and it became clear that he just wanted to get home. This was frustrating to me, because I had driven 8 hours to play two days of ultimate, not one.

It was nice to be away from the Red Sox for a weekend. I'm glad Greece won the Euro.

Drduck should not have commented. Maybe K5 really is dying now.

DJ Logic rocks. (does that link work? allmusic has a good site, but they don't seem to use static links)

Chaos is still interesting, but I am of the opinion that the author doesn't know what the hell he's saying. He keeps trying to use math, but half-explaining things, and taking unnecessary deviations. It seems as though he's undecided whether to fully explain things and risk alienating a popular audience, or not explain things mathematically at all, so he plows through the middle. This just confuses the reader.

So, can anybody recommend a better introduction to Chaos theory?

I got sunburnt this weekend, and am starting to peel.

I've never seen a decent introduction to chaos and chaos theory. Mostly it's overhyped, and 90% is crap.

please explain your viewpoint. I'm really undecided on the matter, so a contrary opinion is helpful.

Peace.

I would steal his Adderall and trade it for something fun.
