I know that a circumcision can go horribly wrong, and that the answer is usually a surgery which reforms the external genitalia so they look female. How likely is this to happen? Is that solution the only option? Being intersexed (a term you can only pick up at a crazy liberal place like Swarthmore) like that must really screw you up when you hit puberty and you're not producing the right hormones.
As much as I want to avoid feeding your troll, I do not think my parents did anything wrong when they had me circumcised. I don't know it to be any other way, so it's kind of hard to see the other side of this argument. I would probably have my male children circumcised out of tradition. It's hard to imagine that ancient Hebrews performed this with a sharp rock. ::shudder::
Finally, circumcision is significantly different from a cliterodectomy, which is sometimes referred to as "female circumcision". For one thing, except in a few very rare cases, circumcision does not remove sensation. A foreskin really is just a flap of skin, as opposed to a very important nerve cluster. Circumcision is not genital mutilation.
