Clearly, there are problems having a single person as a president. He can be in only one place at one time. He can have only a very limited range of knowledge, and must split his time very tightly between facets of an increasingly complicated government. "He" is always white and male, and therefore can only truly represent a minority of the population. He can no longer do the job alone. Therefore, I propose a simple solution: We Should Elect Corporations For President!

Corporations are treated as people in our legal system, why not in our electoral system too? Think of their advantages: greater diversity, greater cumulative knowledge, and the wisdom of a thousand businesses before them! Corporations would have a built-in incentive to help out the economy, since they want to prosper. Also, we would get to see the joys of a truly lasseiz-faire environmental policy (libertarians rejoice)! For my part, I nominate Diebold for president with a running mate of Exxon. Diebold can be around to ensure fair elections, while Exxon can be the brains behind our operation, looking out for our national interests abroad. What do you think?
